What Luzify Snap Does

Luzify Snap lets you photograph your work schedule and add the shifts directly to your Google Calendar. That is the only thing the app does.

Data We Access

When you connect your Google account, we request permission to create events in your Google Calendar (the calendar.events scope). We use this permission solely to add the shifts you confirm to your calendar. We do not read, modify, or delete any existing calendar events.

Data We Process

• Schedule photo: Your image is sent once to Google's Gemini API for text extraction, then immediately discarded. We never store your photos.
• Shift data: The extracted shift times are shown to you for review, sent to Google Calendar when you confirm, and then discarded from our servers. We do not keep a copy.
• Google profile: Your name, email address, and profile picture are used to identify you within the app and for basic usage analytics (e.g., how many people use the service). This information is stored securely and never shared with third parties.

Data We Store

We store minimal usage analytics: your name, email, and a log of actions you took in the app (e.g., "logged in", "added 3 shifts"). This data is stored in a secure, encrypted database (Upstash Redis) and is used only to understand how the service is used. We do not sell, share, or transfer this data to any third party.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not store your photos or schedule images
• We do not read your existing calendar events
• We do not use cookies or third-party trackers
• We do not serve advertisements
• We do not sell or share your data with anyone

Third-Party Services

• Google Calendar API: To create calendar events on your behalf. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Gemini API: To read text from your schedule photo. Images are processed and not retained by Google beyond the API call.

Data Retention

Usage analytics (login events) are retained for up to 12 months and then automatically deleted. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Revoking Access

You can revoke Luzify Snap's access to your Google account at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions and removing Luzify Snap from the list.

Children's Privacy

Luzify Snap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
